Burns and sweat , how to recreate, with different products

Well, probably the most difficult thinks to recreated, after Sue demo we are created in pair burns.

Burns

Gelglyk, gelatine or gelafix you can use to crete a burns effect.effect. Gelglyk is made from gelatine and is easy to heat up, apply and remove from skin. Gelatine is being used in fashion, TV, or film- you can apply also onto a hair, you can mixed with glitter and colours. If some people have allergu on latex you can use a gelatine instead. Non-flexible collodion can be used with gelatine to create a shiny, burn effects.

Products which I used:

  • Supra colour palette
  • small brushes
  • foundation palette
  • gelatine
  • artificial blood
  • wound filler
  • clear latex
  • sponges black and white
My Work

1. Melt the gelfix by using microwave, check every 10 second, make sure it is not too hot before apply to model. Apply by using a palette knife. After when dry use a palette knife, pin and lift up by creating some holes.
2. By using a cotton buds and warm water smooth edges of the gelfix.
3. Use a powder to surface of gelfix to give a realistic look.
4. Stipple a colours onto a gelfix and paint on to give a realistic look
5. Use a sponge and stipple the foundation on top of the gelfix, and this will matches more the skin  tone
6. You can use a stipple sponge to stipple blood, glycerine to give shiny and wetness effects, add pus or wound filler to give more texture to a burns.
7. Old age stipple or latex with tissue paper can also creates burn effects as well

Evaluation

Well, looks funny but wasn't difficult to create a burns, we are malted a gelatine, when applied into a skin a gelatine hardener, we created some looks similar burns, after at all we used a supra colour palette and wound filler and some artificial blood to created real burns. After when gelatine dry out, we used a translucent powder to avoid stick on.
